The deal

Introduction:

On the occasion of the Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan, within the "Interior Design re-evolution" section, Topotek 1 in collaboration with the Landscape Festival and with the support of Forestami and ERSAF - Regional Agency for Agriculture and Forestry Services, presents the installation "Grow together, Grow green" which anticipates the proposal for the Green Square of this year's Landscape Festival in Bergamo. Both installations are conceived as a participatory act, where the event becomes an opportunity to promote the increase of trees in urban contexts, through the adhesion to the project by individual citizens or institutions willing to adopt a typical forest plan of the region, which will be transplanted, cared for and watered for a period of about 8 months, until the ideal moment for its planting. In particular, for the Milan event, the   of the plants will be delivered to Forestami in autumn 2023 (on the occasion of National Tree Day), so that they can be planted permanently in the North Milan Park. Thanks to this action, the North Park will be enriched by approx. 6,000 new masts. The initiative aims to raise citizens' awareness of the value of the presence of trees and wooded areas in the urban area, triggering a process of involvement and activating a network of participation as well as various forms of voluntary and free collaboration. To this end, Topotek 1 and the Landscape Festival hereby share a custodian agreement based on the principles of mutual trust, responsibility and sustainability.

 

The pact is addressed to all those who are willing to take responsibility for adopting a plant and taking care of it until it is planted, enhancing the value of participation and accepting the commitment to increase the natural capital of the territory.

THE DEAL

On 22 and 23 April 2023, on the occasion of the Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan, I will receive a forest map

(one of these essences: Acer campestre, Acer pseudoplatanus, Carpinus betulus, Celtis australis, Crataegus monogyna, Fraxinus excelsior, Morus alba, Quercus ilex, Tilia cordata, Betula pendula, Ulmus laevis, Ulmus minor, Ostrya carpinifolia, Prunus padus, Cytisus scoparius , Castanea sativa, Prunus mahaleb, Cornus sanguinea, Prunus avium)

I pledgeto: 

​

• Transplant it into a pot of suitable size (follow the instructions on instagram or on: https:///www.landscapefestival.it/fuorisalone);

• Safeguard it and make it grow in good health, supported by the advice and suggestions that the promoters will make available on our website in the next few days

• Return it in autumn 2023 in the manner that will be communicated to me by the promoters or to plant it in a place I own

• Contribute with my commitment and with this concrete gesture of care to the increase of the natural capital of my territory;

• Share the experience of adoption and care with the community, maintaining a relationship and documenting the action on the profile  instagram  "growtogether_growgreen" also with the production of video/photographic contributions , comments and useful content to be shared;

• Give timely communication to the project initiators by email info@arketipos.org if the forest planting is suffering and/or needs treatment;

Topotek 1 in collaboration with the Landscape Festival, undertakes to: 

​

• Deliver the forest map during the days of 22 and 23 April in the time slots as indicated in the program of the Interni Design re-evolution event and which you can choose when booking on our website;

• Support the beneficiaries and the related forest planting care activities through tutorials and information pills, mainly conveyed through their social channels and the landscapefestival.it website and through a newsletter;

• To deliver the seedlings adopted in autumn 2023, on a date that will be communicated by the promoters and subsequently to include them in the planting projects for the 2023-2024 agronomic season.

This adoption agreement is valid from the date of signing until the date of return of the map which will take place no later than November 2023. In carrying out the activities envisaged in the context of this custody agreement, the Guardian and the subjects involved by him will operate under the their personal liability, holding Topotek 1 and the Landscape Festival harmless from any liability.
