
Florian Strauß
After completing a vocational training in horticulture and working for several years as a construction site supervisor, Florian Strauß studied landscape architecture at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences and the Technical University of Munich from 2006 to 2012. After earning a master's degree under Professor Regine Keller, he began working as a project manager at the landscape architecture firm Schweingruber Zulauf in Zurich.
Florian Strauß has been part of the Studio Vulkan team since its founding in 2014.
Today, he is a partner, lives in Munich, and develops the office's headquarters together with Dominik Bueckers and Lukas Schweingruber. Florian Strauß focuses on the design and construction of contemporary urban living and working spaces.
In 2021, Florian Strauß was a visiting professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Biberach. He also teaches at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, is a guest critic, and serves as a professional assistant on competition juries.
