Tony Spencer

Tony Spencer is a Canadian author, photographer, speaker and garden designer known for being the founder of "The New Perennialist".

Internationally known in the field of nature garden design, Tony is famous for his eponymous blog and for hosting "The New Perennialist Talks", a series of webinars with influential gardening designers. In 2020, he received the "Landscape Design Honor Award" from the US "Perennial Plant Association" (PPA) and in 2023 was named PPA "Garden Media Promoter" of the year. With over 75,000 followers, Tony is an excellent promoter of the naturalistic movement.

He travels very often visiting gardens and intervening at conferences as a communicator, documentor and popularizer of ideas of this movement.
