
Katerina Gkoltsiou
Katerina Gkoltsiou is President of IFLA Europe (2021-2025), Vice-President of IFLA (2024-2025), former Vice-President of IFLA Europe for Professional Practices (2019-2021), and former President of the Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects (PHALA) for six years.
He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of the Aegean in Greece, a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and a Diploma in Agriculture from the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Crop Sciences at the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA).
She has had her own Landscape Architecture practice in Athens, Greece, since 1997, specializing in a wide range of services in the field of landscape architecture design, construction, and research.
Since 2002 he has participated as a project manager and scientific advisor in EU research programmes.
